…the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust. Ruth 2:12

In this series we consider the treasured story of Ruth the Moabitess. The story is short but powerful account of the providence of God in the lives Ruth, Naomi her mother-in-law and Boaz her future husband.

The main feature of the narrative is the idea of the ‘kinsman-redeemer’ and how a life may be brought back from the brink of desolation through the loving intervention of a redeemer! Christians have often seen a foreshadowing of Christ in this aspect of the story.
